TENCEL is a type of rayon fabric created from wood based cellulose fibers that are dissolved into a wet mixture and spun into yarn. Tencel is an environmentally friendly material that does not create harmful by-products in the production process unlike cotton, silk and many other fabrics. Tencel stands out with its ability to absorb moisture inhibiting the growth of bacteria and also being able to thermo-regulate temperature while you sleep.

TENCEL was created with feel and aesthetic in mind. It feels soft and silky along with a beautiful sheen-like appearance.

TENCEL is made from sustainable wood pulp that is dissolved in a non-toxic organic solvent. This method is referred ot as a closed loop process as more than 99% of the solvent is recovered and re-used which means less water usage and wastage! Tencel is also environmentally friendly as it is fully degradable at the end of its life. The wood pulp used for Tencel fabric comes from sustainable eucalyptus tree farms certified by the Forest stewardship Council.

Copper ions are embedded into the tencel fabric to provide an antibacterial effect against harmful bacteria. Because they are embedded deep into the fabric fibres, this maintains there efficacy even after 500 washes!

HOW DOES IT WORK?
